The video for Lady Gaga’s Born This Way. I’m surprised. The music introduction comes from one of my favorite Alfred Hitchcock’s movies Vertigo. It’s the movie theme composed by Bernard Herrmann. I posted it some time ago just after watching Vertigo. And the video for Born This Way was directed by Nick Knight, an amazing London fashion photographer and director. It contains triangles, unicorns and stardust so everything that a hipster may dream of. I like its visionary style, the vintage 1960s Star Trek-like beginning, dark dancing sections and Sin City-like white gloves.
